Fence Color & Tree Recommendations

ARBOR HILL ENDORSED WOODEN FENCE STAIN COLORS

The Arbor Hill Homeowners Association’s ARC Standard titled “Fences” states that ARC-approved wooden fences may be left to weather naturally, or may be stained with natural shades of beige or brown (not yellows, not reds). A sample brochure of wooden fence stain colors is shown below.  This is to help you see the distinctions we are trying to make between beige/browns vs yellows & reds. The brand name of the weather/water-proofing wood stain in this brochure is not intended to restrict the brand of such transparent wood stains, only to serve as an example. The “Behr Wood Finishes” brand is available at Home Depot, which is nearby to the neighborhood. We have labeled each acceptable color in this sample brochure with a “YES” label. For the sake of clarity, unacceptable colors, which should not be used, are clearly marked with a “NO” label.
